No. Most students need more than one class to determine if this is where they want to be. You are welcome to observe a class, but to be on the training floor, you need to be a member.
Not really, we do offer short term Starter Memberships that give you a uniform and a specific number of classes, usually its enough to give you a good idea if it’s a good fit for you and your family.
New students take a starter membership and schedule their first class, all can be done on-line.
Absolutely. We have an open spectator area that can accommodate most needs. We encourage parents to stay and watch, especially with the younger students. Some parents stay, some leave.
Yes. We also encourage students to wear their uniforms to the Academy and wait to put on their belts until they get here.
Yes. 10 percent discount for tuition and starter memberships for military and first responders.
Yes. 25 percent off additional memberships (tuition only)
Yes. They need to be interviewed by Master Bill before he will allow them to attend classes.
None. No promotional fees, registration fees or cancellation fees. Students will need sparring gear in the Essentials Tang Soo Do program. They choose what they need and can be purchased through our app.
4 years old in the Elementz Program
6 years old in the White Tigers Program
8 years old in the Essential Tang Soo Do Program
Yes. Students learn techniques and non-contact sparring drills at the beginner level. Students learn footwork at the Intermediate level, and begin making intentional contact at the Advanced level.
This is a traditional style from south Korea. It starts with foundational techniques and builds on them as student progress. They learn more complex forms as they advance through the ranks. All of this information is expected to be retained as they advance.
Elementz Students go straight into the class on Tuesdays and Thursdays 5PM-5:30PM.
White Tigers must first attend the White Tiger Introductory Class on Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30PM-6PM.
All Essential Tang Soo Do Students must first attend the Essentials Introductory Class on Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30PM-6PM.
We encourage students to compete in federation events, but participation is not required.
